Geophysical Investigations

The subsurface of a site can offer up some surprises. One must be able to look below the ground surface in order to create a 3 dimensional image of the subsurface.
We use various geo-physical measurement systems in combination with conventional methods in order to quickly and efficiently deal with such issues. All geo-physical methods are mostly non-destructive and enable the creation of a 3 dimensional image of the subsurface. Geophysical measuring systems also have many applications in the non-destructive examination of structures made of concrete, stone or composite materials.

Geo-radar

Geo-radar is a geo-physical measurement method based on the diffusion of electromagnetic waves in a medium. It provides a quick, detailed and non-destructive investigation of the subsurface and structures. By adjusting the sequence for the required use it can be made suitable for many different areas.

Ground Motion Measurements

Vibrations are mechanical oscillations of fixed matter that can have potentially damaging or undesirable effects on buildings, machines and people.
The operators of plants subject to authorisation (e.g. also building sites) are bound by the Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG) to avoid damaging environmental impacts (including ground motion) and to keep unavoidable impacts to a minimum. .
We create project specific monitoring concepts, undertake initial orientation measurements at the start of a building project and if necessary, efficiently monitor vibration intensive building phases.
